Man Robbed After Leaving Sunsplash

Police say that the 21-year-old Lakeshore man had just left the tent at the Sunsplash Festival in Belle River sometime after 1:30am with three other young men that he had just met. He went to a convenience store and after purchasing some cigarettes was sitting with the other three males in the park when one of the males grabbed his wallet which contained cash and took off.
The victim chased him and when he caught up with the suspect was struck several times in the face causing him to fall to the ground where the other two males repeatedly kicked him. One of the males took his cell phone. All three suspects fled the scene on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as being approximately 19 years of age, 5’8” – 6’0”, with a medium build and had black or brown hair. The second was approximately 17 years of age,with a skinny build, acne complexion, and had a shaved head. The third was approximately 17 years of age, with a pierced lower lip, and longer hair.
