One person was killed Wednesday afternoon after a crash on Highway 3.
OPP say that the two vehicle crash happened just after 4pm on Highway 3, just west of Essex County Road 31 in Kingsville.
An eastbound Saturn containing two occupants struck the eastbound shoulder of Highway 3, over-corrected and struck a westbound Pontiac containing just a driver.
The passenger of the Saturn Auzidje Bancouly age 29 of Brush, Colorado was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver Florent Bancouly age 34, also of Brush, Colorado, was taken to a Windsor hospital and then transferred to a Detroit hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The driver of the Pontiac, Nahim Ibrahim, age 45 of Lakeshore, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for several hours, and reopened at 8:30pm.
