A new vacation carrier is coming to Windsor Airport this winter to offer flights to resorts in the Dominican Republic.
Air Transat has announced that it will increase service to Punta Cana this winter with the introduction of a new weekly flight from Windsor on Mondays between December 21st, 2015 and April 4th, 2016.
The company currently offers service to Punta Cana from 17 Canadian airports.
The company says Punta Cana is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean and is known for its white-sand beaches, happening nightlife, water sports and entertainment. Transat offers 45 resorts in Punta Cana and a variety of excursions including a treasure hunt where travellers get to snorkel with stingrays, a horseback riding adventure at a ranch and a cruise along the Bavaro coast on a deluxe catamaran that doubles as a spa.
