Have you ever wondered what happens to all the stuff you put in the Blue and Red Boxes once it leaves the curb?
If so, then this Sunday you will get the chance to see the process up close at the Recycling Centre open house.
You will be able to tour the buildings, ask questions, play games, win prizes, and have some BBQ, and the kids will be able to get inside the Recycle Trucks to see how they work.
You’ll be able to buy a composter, digester or rain barrel, take the grocery store challenge, and the kids will be able to make a seed bomb.
The open house runs from 10am to 2pm at 3560 North Service Road East, rain or shine.
