The totals are in for the very rainy weekend Windsor and Essex County just experienced.
On Saturday, Environment Canada reported a total rainfall of 37.4mm; and on Sunday we received 36.8mm for a total of 74.2mm. That’s nearly 3 inches of rain.
The non stop rain on Sunday caused the cancellation of Sunset Food Truck Rally planned for Windsor’s Riverfront Festival Plaza, the closure of the first weekend of the Riverside Farmers’ Market, as well as the cancellation of several other area events.
There was extensive flooding in Essex County as well.
