The City of Windsor is looking at ways it can re purpose the existing public right-of-way to optimize space in Downtown Windsor including streetscaping, utilities and all users (vehicles, transit, bicycles and pedestrians) in hopes to achieve a balanced transportation network for people that encourages non-motorized uses and establishes vibrant and inviting public spaces.
A pubic information center is being held on Thursday that will feature display boards to obtain public input on the identified needs and opportunities.
Representatives from the City and the Consultant Project Team will be present to answer questions and discuss the next steps in the study.
It takes place from 4pm to 8pm at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre.
