“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to contribute to both a local organization and an international project for the enhanced care of children. We have witnessed first hand the tremendous impact that even modest investments, along with care and attention, can have upon the lives of children. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters we will be able to enhance the programming for children who are enrolled in the John McGivney Children’s Centre and children living in abject poverty in Ghana, Africa, says Kim Spirou,” president of the Charity Chix.
The Charity Chix is new non-profit organization comprised of business, labour and professional women who have joined forces to raise funds for worthy causes locally and globally. Working as “free-lance” fundraisers, the Charity Chix will focus its attention on local charities and those in need around the globe. “The Charity Chix look forward to working their patrons and sponsors, to make great changes together!,” adds Spirou.
