Sandra Pupatello was awarded the Businesswoman of the Year Award at the 13th Annual Italian Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Gala held Thursday evening in Toronto.
“We at the Chamber are delighted to recognize the excellent work of Hon. Sandra Pupatello in nurturing business ties between Ontario and Italy. Her dynamic energy and absolute love of both her native (Canada) and adopted (Italy) homelands contributed to increasing the business ties in the automotive sector while also promoting more traditional sectors between Ontario and Italy,” said George Visintin, President of the ICCO.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario Business Excellence Awards is a means to celebrate and showcase those individuals who have changed the economic landscape of Ontario, and given a competitive edge to their business.
“The Hon. Pupatello is a model of commitment, resourcefulness and dedication that instills faith and energy in our community. Her numerous accolades over the past few years recognize her work in civil service, the business community as well as the not for profit sector. The ICCO Businesswoman of the Year Award recognizes excellence and commitment to the community. This is a long overdue recognition by the business community of Ontario and is well supported by our counterparts in Italy and, specifically, the Region of Friuli,” Visintin concluded.
