Firefighters battled a blaze at the rear of a home on Curry Avenue near EC Row, late Tuesday afternoon.
Crews were called to Curry south of Northwood to find a fence, a trailer, a large wood pile and several other items on fire at the rear of a home.
Flames spread to the attached garage of the home and smoke poured out of the garage’s roof.
Firefighters had the blaze out within minutes as curious neighbours watched.
No one was injured.
