Health Unit Launches Quit Smoking Workplace Challenge

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s quit 4 good! – workplace quit smoking challenge begins on World No Tobacco Day – May 31st, 2015.
This 4-week online challenge provides an opportunity for local employers to encourage and support their employees, retirees, and their family members who smoke, to quit smoking for good!
By staying smoke free from May 31st, 2015 through June 30th, 2015 employees and retirees of workplaces in Windsor and Essex County and their family members can win great prizes.
To be eligible participants must have smoked cigarettes or used tobacco as of March 31st, 2015. All participants must register a “buddy” who can support them in their quit efforts as well as verify that they had been smoke free should they be selected as a winner.
