Environment Canada say that we can expect our first taste of very warm and almost sultry mid summer weather on Friday.

Under the strong may sunshine, temperatures on Friday afternoon will reach the upper 30’s°C or 86°F in most areas, making it feel much more like mid summer.

The very warm conditions will continue through Saturday.

Latest conditions are now suggesting temperatures will remain considerably higher than average on Sunday, and into early next week, before considerably cooler air arrives by the middle of the week.
