The City of Windsor is planning for the future needs of Mitchell Park on Giles Boulevard.
Mitchell Park was named in honour of Frank J. Mitchell, Windsor’s Chief Magistrate from 1924-1926. Mitchell Park currently has soccer and football fields, a basketball court, and playground equipment.
A public open house will be held at Queen Victoria Public School, 1376 Victoria Avenue this Thursday May 28th, 2015.
The city will be collecting input on what activities and amenities people would like to see in the park and what improvements could be made to better service community needs within this park.
The open house runs from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
