Windsor Police are still trying to identify a man found dead on a trail near the WFCU Centre last week.

Police were called around 7:30am Thursday to the area of Little River Road and Riverdale Avenue, north of McHugh Street along the trail near the WFCU Centre.

Police say the death doesn’t appear suspicious and there are no signs of foul play but detectives from the major crimes unit are in the process of investigating the death.

The man possibly passed away sometime overnight or in the early morning, according to police.

He didn’t have any identification and police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

He’s described as white, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 6’0″, blue eyes, shaved head, wearing a blackish grey coat, black track pants, white new balance running shoes and a black tuque.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), online at www.catchcrooks.com.
