Family owned and operated business Cheung’s Trading Company will be celebrating their 30th anniversary in May and to celebrate they will be bringing their “Food Ventures” program back for another year.
The program is designed to help find, fund and foster local food entrepreneurs who want to be vendors at the Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market while promoting food sustainability, local foods and holistic living.
In 2014 Jeff Denomme and his company Papa D’s Hot Sawce was selected as the first ever Food Ventures winner and they enjoyed a successful season selling their “Made in Windsor” product which are now found in various local dining establishments.
To apply send a submission of less than 500 words to [email protected] telling them about yourself, why you would like to be selected as a vendor and what kind of products you plan to make.
The deadline to apply for Food Ventures is April 19th, 2015.
