Chrysler Canada has started 2015 off very strong, according to the company, and minivan sales have grown significantly over the same period last year.
The automaker has now had 62 consecutive months of year-over-year sales growth, which is the longest growth streak in Company’s history.
In January, 18,054 vehicles were sold compared with 17,698 in January 2014, which represents a 2% increase.
“Our strong product portfolio has helped us achieve an unprecedented 62 consecutive months of year over year sales growth,” says chief operating officer Dave Buckingham. “Strong sales for Jeep brand, Ram brand, and minivans continue to be the key determinant in our success.”
The made-in-Windsor Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans remain favourites for Canadian consumers. In January, 4,309 Dodge and Chrysler Minivans were sold, up 33% from 3,242 sold in January 2014.
