Local Towns Get Money For Infrastructure Improvements

Several county municipalities have received funding from the Ontario Government to build and repair infrastructure.
The Town of Amherstburg will receive up to $2,000,000 to reconstruct sections of Texas Road and install bike lanes and sidewalks.
The Town of Essex will receive up to $1,597,533 toward the completion of the reconstruction of road repairs and replacement of a 50 year-old water main.
The Town of Kingsville will receive up to $1,065,334 to replace and upgrade an existing storm sewer and install backflow valves.
The Municipality of Leamington will receive up to $360,000 to replace and widen Bridge #8 which will make it safer for heavy goods traffic.
