Robbery In Leamington

Leamington OPP are currently investigating a robbery in the town.
Police say that around 7pm Wednesday evening, a lone male entered a variety store on Mill Street West brandishing a large knife and demanded money.
The lone employee turned over a small quantity of cash to the suspect who fled on foot. The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as being is his 20’s and was wearing dark clothing, scarf, toque, and glove with his face covered.
The Essex County OPP K-9 unit attended the scene but were unable to track the suspect.
The OPP is asking anyone that may have information to contact the Leamington OPP Crime Unit or Crime Stoppers.
