One of the most common questions asked of kids is “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
While the question may be asked, most times not much thought is put into how children actually learn about career options available to them, according to the Windsor Public Library.
Workforce WindsorEssex and the library have teamed up to create a career resource for parents and teachers.
Through collaborations they have gathered booklists, helpful webpages and advice about introducing pre-schoolers to the world of work. This resource is currently aimed at parents and teachers of the under 5 set, but there are plans to expand the focus to include older children in the near future.
