Car Crashes Into Nutrition Store

Damage is extensive after a car crashed through the window of a store Friday morning.

OPP say that just after 11am, a Honda Pilot being driven by a 60-year-old woman pulled up to the Spartan Nutrition store located on Talbot Street West.

They say that it appears the driver inadvertently stepped on the accelerator in her vehicle causing it to accelerate rapidly resulting in her vehicle driving completely through the front plate glass window ending up completely inside the store.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The only person in the store was a single employee who was not hurt.
