Monday evening, Windsor City Council voted to waive the hard-sided garbage container requirement for the two collection periods following Boxing Day.
Mayor Drew Dilkens made the motion, saying that the holidays season always makes more garbage.
Following those two collection dates, you will be required to use a hard-sided container again.
