Caesars Windsor and Unifor Local 444 narrowly avoided a strike just hours after a 12:01am deadline and the casino will open at 9am Friday.
Caesars Windsor shut down all its entire facility earlier Thursday evening and locked its doors ahead of the strike deadline of 12:01am Friday.
Local 444 announced just after 2am that they had reached a tentative agreement with Caesars. The union says a ratification meeting will take place Tuesday.
