House Catches Fire On Parkwood

Windsor firefighters have extinguished a blaze at a house in the 3000 block of Parkwood Street in Devonshire Heights.

Firefighters were called around 10:30am and found flames and smoke coming from the building.

The fire was out within minutes and there are no reports of injuries.

The fire was contained to the first floor of the home and damage to home and contents is estimated at $200,000.

Officials say that the cause is unknown, and that two people have been displaced.
