Drunk Man Rings Wrong Bell

An alleged drunk man rang the wrong doorbell in Chatham-Kent early this morning.

Police say it was just after 3am that they were called to a home where a man was on the front porch ringing the doorbell.

When an officer arrived they located a highly intoxicated man clearly unable to care for himself. During the investigation police say that they learned that in fact the man was at the wrong house and on the wrong street.

The 27-year-old Chatham man was escorted off the property and is currently sleeping it off in police custody.
