Coca-Cola Canada has opened its newest distribution centre in Windsor, which will employ 15 people.
The distribution centre operates five days a week, serving over one thousand customers in communities including Windsor, Wheatley, Tillbury, Leamington, Kingsville, Belle River, Amhertsberg, Essex and many others.
“Coca-Cola is pleased to be creating jobs and investment in Windsor at our new distribution centre. We are a global company, but we know our strength comes from the communities we serve,” said John Guarino, President, Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada. “We are looking forward to continuing to support the Windsor community in the years ahead.”
The Windsor distribution centre began operations in February 2014, and has signed a ten year lease.
“It is yet another positive sign for the Windsor economy when a company like Coca-Cola shows their confidence in the city and the local market by locating a new distribution centre here,” said Mayor Eddie Francis. “I want to thank Coca-Cola for not only the value they put on their relationship with their local customers, but their continued support for many community organizations.”
