Windsor Police have ticketed a driver after she was allegedly seen applying makeup while driving down the road.
Police say an officer in a low profile police vehicle was patrolling on Howard Avenue near EC Row on Saturday.
The officer’s attention was drawn to a vehicle in front of him travelling at a slow rate of speed.
Police say the officer drove beside the vehicle and saw a female driver with the sun shade down applying makeup in the mirror.
The officer noticed that the lights beside the mirror were on and the driver had both hands off the steering wheel. Police say the woman was leaning towards the mirror holding a canister in one hand and applying makeup to her eyelashes with a brush.
Police stopped the vehicle and noticed that the woman had a 2-year-old child in a child seat in the back seat.
The woman was issued a provincial offences notice for the offence of careless driving.
