Thinking about attending college for the first time or returning for another program? St. Clair College wants to give you a chance to experience college life first-hand during its Spring Open House this weekend.
St. Clair’s Open House takes place Saturday, March 22nd from 10am – 1pm. All campuses are open and organizers say the event will prove to be a great opportunity for students weighing their college options to get good advice and talk to faculty.
Unique to this year’s open house, organizers have planned presentations on labour market studies as a way to inform attendees about the latest job opportunities and regional growth areas.
If you’re wondering about financial aid, St. Clair will have information about financial aid and scholarships and other options to help with tuition costs.
“This event is a wonderful time for students and their parents to tour the campus and talk directly with program faculty,” says Waseem Habash, Associate Vice President, Academic. “Students are keen on wanting to understand exactly what their program of choice is all about and what to expect when they are in the classroom.”
Organizers say the Open House will feature general campus tours, residence tours and a chance to win a “night on the town” in a Red Carpet Contest.
St. Clair says the open house will be taking place at all four of its locations: the Windsor Campus, the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, the Mediaplex and the Thames Campus in Chatham.
