The City of Windsor is looking to renew their contract with Tower Optical Company which provides coin operated binocular viewing devices along the riverfront.
Currently the viewing devices are located in Dieppe Gardens, the Festival Plaza and in Reaume Park.
The charge to get a close up view of the City of Detroit remains at 25 cents with the city getting 50% of the profit and the supplier the other 50%.
The city says that annually the viewing devices bring in about $1,415 in revenue.
If approved by council, the contract will be extended another five years.
