Open House For Westview Freedom Academy On Thursday

The transition to a new high school in west Windsor is well under way, and the student parliament from J.L. Forster Secondary School is helping support the transition of students to Westview Freedom Academy with an Open House on Thursday from 5pm to 7:30pm.

Both Forster and Century secondary schools will both close at the end of this school year. Westview Freedom Academy will open at the current Century site at 1375 California in September 2014 providing comprehensive academic programs as well as a variety of learning opportunities in skilled trades.

All current students at Forster and Century secondary schools are invited as well as Grade 8 students in the area preparing to enter high school in September.

Two brief presentations are scheduled at 5:15pm and then the remainder of the evening will offer students and their families an opportunity to tour the school and visit the information booths set up throughout the building.
