Updated Monday January 27th, 10pm.

Environment Canada warns that cold wind chills are developing over the area.

In the wake of a cold front, falling temperatures and strong winds will generate wind chill values into the minus thirties tonight and will likely persist into Tuesday in most areas.

Frostbite (damage, sometimes permanent, to skin and body tissue due to freezing) and hypothermia (a life threatening drop in body temperature) will occur if adequate precautions are not taken when outdoors. These can occur within minutes.

A bitterly cold Arctic air mass has once again invaded Southern Ontario. It will persist at least through the middle of the work week.
