Registration is now open for the 2014 edition of the Walk to Fight Arthritis.
Imagine not being able to open a door, hold a fork or even get dressed without assistance. This is what 4.6 million Canadians, 60,000 of which are children, live with daily according to the Arthritis Society’s Dan Knight.
Knight says, however, that you can make a difference in the lives of those living with the pain of arthritis.
The 2014 Walk to Fight Arthritis organized by The Arthritis Society has officially launched online registration.
You can take part in the Sunday, June 8th Walk to Fight Arthritis set to take place at Malden Park. Participate in a 1km or 5km non-competitive, family-friendly walk. You’re encouraged to gather your friends, family, and colleagues to join the fifth annual event, which takes place in 26 communities across the country, including right here in Windsor.
The funds raised from this event are really special because they help The Arthritis Society continue to fund vital research to find a cure for this disease as well as fund many programs and services that help people living with arthritis.
