Windsor’s Pinnacle Chrysler on Walker and Tecumseh has been sold and re-branded as Motor City Chrysler.
The change in ownership comes as part of a business expansion from the owners of the Tilbury Auto Mall.
Tom Mayhew, one of the owners of the new dealership said Windsor was one of the best locations in Canada for their new Chrysler dealership.
“We think the location across the street from the Windsor assembly plant was the number one reason we have chosen Windsor,” said Mayhew.
Mayhew said their plan for the future is to rebuild their service department to fulfill their customer’s full expectations.
The new dealership is also a fully unionized environment.
“We want them to realize we are a fully unionized store in front and back, in service and in sales,” said Mayhew. “We are going to support the CAW in every which way we can and just hope we get the proper support from them also.”
