The Muslim Students’ Association at the University of Windsor is inviting members of the campus community to ask questions about the practice of headscarf wearing and even wear a hijab during Hijab Awareness Day.
The students say the event is intended to clarify misconceptions about the role of the hijab and what it means in Islamic culture.
It will take this Thursday from 9am to 5pm at the CAW Student Centre.
