A TV reporter at a news station across the Detroit river is making headlines of her own after she uttered the F-word on live TV this morning.
WDIV Local 4 reporter Lauren Podell was reporting on a building fire when she said the F-bomb into her microphone in what appeared to be a moment of confusion as to when she would be live on TV.
Michigan-based graphic designer Jason Heien became the first to upload a video of the incident to YouTube and the clip was quickly picked up across the US by Gawker, The Huffington Post and others.
So far Podell has been silent about the incident on twitter but reaction has been mixed on Local 4’s facebook page.
Morning news anchor Evrod Cassimy apologized to viewers within seconds of hearing the word.
