UWindsor And CUPE 1393 Negotiations To Resume Friday

Bargaining negotiations between the University of Windsor and CUPE Local 1393 will resume on Friday, October 4th after discussions broke off on September 28th.
On Thursday, CUPE National President Paul Moist and CUPE Local 1393 requested a meeting with UWindsor President Alan Wildeman and Rita LaCivita, Chief Human Resources Officer. The group met to discuss the key outstanding issues.
As a result, the mediator helping with the negotiations has called the two sides back to the table beginning tomorrow.
CUPE 1393 represents 281 technical, trades and professional staff.
They have been on strike since September 8th.
