A Post Mortem examination is scheduled for Friday after a body was pulled from the Detroit River late Wednesday.

Police say that just after 6pm, officers were walking on patrol by the waterfront in the area of Hall Avenue and Riverside Drive. At this time police discovered a body in the water approximately 20 Meters from shore.

The Windsor Police Marine Unit was called and the body was recovered from the river.

The Post Mortem will take place at the London Health Sciences centre.
