Essex County OPP Gets A Solar Powered Golf Cart

The Essex County OPP have made part of their fleet solar powered just in time the Essex County Kids Cop Camp which began on Sunday and runs through Thursday.

The OPP golf cart is a kid favourite at the event and recently received an upgrade of Solar Power from local Solar Panel manufacturer Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies Inc.

“This is a great initiative by the Essex County OPP towards introducing our youth to renewable technology at this years camp, but most of all I hope the kids will put the cart to some good use having fun” said Sean Moore CEO of Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies Inc.

Both the Essex County OPP and Unconquered Sun hope, that while enjoying the new ride, the kids learn a little bit about sustainability.
