windsoriteDOTca, the City of Windsor and the International Children’s Games Windsor-Essex 2013 are proud to announce the winner of the Create A Postcard For Windsor-Essex Contest.

Cassandra Capacchione’s photo of the Windsor-Detroit fireworks received the most votes, 129, and she is the winner of the grand prize, an iPad mini.

Five runners up will receive copies of their postcards and a gift card to local restaurants.

Dusko Pilic’s photo of the Windsor-Detroit border received 62 votes. Linda Goodhue’s photo of the Summer Fest carnival received 46 votes. Sharon Drummond’s photo depicting automotive heritage in Ford City received 27 votes and tied with Calum Noade’s photo of the Ambassador Bridge. Theresa Schroeder’s photo of the tip of Point Pelee received 14 votes.

Finalists will be officially contacted shortly to arrange finalization details and prizes will be presented at the International Childrens’ Games Closing Ceremony.
