Children’s Games Opening Ceremony: Here’s What To Expect

The 47th International Children’s Games Opening Ceremony takes place Thursday evening at the WFCU Centre.

The ceremony is billed as an artistic, multi-faceted spectacle showcasing Windsor-Essex culture and talent and featuring the Parade of Athletes, live music, dance, aerialists and specialty performers including local young people in most of its segments, reflecting the “In Sport We Are One” legacy.

Organizers say tickets for the event have been “sold out” for weeks, but you can watch from the comfort of your home thanks to TV Cogeco!

The entire event will be broadcast live starting at 7pm on Thursday.

Repeat broadcasts will also be available on:

– Friday August 16 at 1pm

– Friday August 16 at 8pm

– Saturday August 17 at 10am

– Saturday August 17 at 7pm

– Monday August 19 at 7pm
