Based on water samples taken on July 3rd by the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit swimming is not recommended at Cedar Beach in Kingsville, Cedar Island Beach in Kingsville, Colchester Beach in Essex, Holiday Beach in Amherstburg, Lakeside Beach in Kingsville and Seacliff Beach in Leamington.
Sandpoint Beach in Windsor and West Belle River Beach in Lakeshore are closed because the bacteria has reached a health hazard level of more than 1000.
