The new showroom under construction earlier this year

Thunder Road Harley-Davidson has a brand new showroom and you’re invited to a party this weekend to celebrate.

On Saturday, July 27th, from 9am to 5pm, Windsor’s Thunder Road Harley-Davidson will officially open the doors to their new state-of-the-art facility, located right beside their old location on Huron Church.

“What better way to introduce our new dealership than with a great party?” says Rob Reeb, Thunder Road General Manager. “We’re really proud of this new dealership we’ve built,” says Reeb. “It’s the start of a whole new era in Harley-Davidson motorcycling for the region. We did so much more than just build a bigger dealership. Of course we added more space, but we also made sure to secure the latest in diagnostic and service equipment, including the most advanced dyno testing unit in Southwestern Ontario. The showroom is bigger, and we have an expanded climate-controlled area for winter bike storage.”

In business since 1994, and currently with 18 employees, the management and owners at Thunder Road Harley-Davidson have always believed in the Windsor and Essex County region, and this expanded and improved dealership is a testament to that faith.

The new Thunder Road is just over 20,000 square feet, and will have a much larger area for inventory display and an expanded shop, carrying all the latest in Harley-Davidson accessories and Motorclothes. The shop space has been completely re-designed, including a top-line service area, designed to handle everything from basic service to engine performance and from accessory installation to collision repairs.

“Please join us on Saturday, July 27th when we throw open the doors,” says Reeb.

“There will be music, food, refreshments and giveaways all day long – we can’t wait to show off the new Thunder Road! And, there will be a motorcycle raffle on Saturday at 4pm. The proceeds go to maintaining the motorcycle museum out at the Canadian Transportation Museum. Just purchase a ticket for $10 and you’ll have a chance to win a brand new Harley-Davidson 1200 Sportster.”

“We’ll have entertainment all day from Fake Low, delicious barbecue and our own version of a garage sale. Everyone is welcome!”
