Decrepit South Windsor boulevard, Roselawn Drive, is planned to be getting a million dollars worth of overdue fixing in the near future.
A visit to the road revealed areas of repeated asphalt patching, no curbs and a generally bumpy commute.
City Councillor Drew Dilkens identified the road as a top priority after years of the roadway’s decay.
The project is also planned to include a multi-use path in Roselawn’s centre boulevard.
Funding for the project comes from a one million dollar City Council allocation to each of Windsor’s ten municipal wards for projects deemed necessary to neighbourhoods.
The decision to redo Roselawn must still be approved by City Council.
