Workforce WindsorEssex announced that Tanya Antoniw has been appointed the organizations new Executive Director.
“We are excited to welcome Tanya Antoniw as Executive Director.” said Shelley Fellows, President of Workforce WindsorEssex. “She will build on the momentum created over the last five years and continue to work with community partners to provide timely information on the local labour market to make sure that we develop a world-class workforce.”
As Director of Project Management at Workforce WindsorEssex since May 2012, Tanya led the successful completion of nine projects that engaged regional stakeholders, youth and community members in communicating essential information on current and future workforce trends.
Tanya is the author of Promising Sectors & Occupations, 2012-2015 Windsor-Essex and chairs the Pathway to Potential Evaluation and Reporting Working Group and the WE Prosper Available Skilled Trades Task Force. She is a board member of Legal Assistance Windsor.
Tanya has a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Windsor and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
Her first day on the job is July 2nd.
