Jefferson Boulevard between Riverside Drive and Raymond is set to be repaved.

The City of Windsor had originally intended to repave Riverside Drive East between Lauzon and where construction ended last year, but changes to this year’s budget allowed for that portion of Riverside to be constructed to “Vista” standards with coloured concrete, new sidewalks, bike lanes, curbs and gutters.

As a result, the City of Windsor is reallocating funds from the Riverside repaving and is planning to redo Jefferson.

The City says Jefferson between Riverside and Raymond is considered “now deficient” and is an ideal candidate for simple repaving.
