Environment Canada is calling for isolated thunderstorms this afternoon with heavy downpours possible.

They say that the warm and humid air mass over Southern Ontario has made conditions favourable for the development of isolated thunderstorms.

These thunderstorms are expected to be slow-moving and could produce local rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm if several track over the same area.
