Streetscaping Construction Begins Monday On Ottawa Street

Starting Monday, the first phase of road, watermain reconstruction and streetscaping gets underway on Ottawa Street from Windermere Road to Moy Avenue.

The work consists of new watermains, curbs, sidewalks and the removal of the brick rumble-strip crosswalks at intersections. New street lights will also be installed.

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic, and detour signs will be posted.

All business will remain open with access for foot traffic maintained during construction.
