A second famous South Windsor neon landmark is set to get added to the heritage register.
The Arcata Pizzeria sign located on Dougall Avenue has stood since the 1960’s and may be the oldest sign along Dougall Road.
The owner of the business has requested the heritage addition because of the sign’s neon letters, small lights along the perimeter and large arrow.
This would be the second neon sign to be considered historic in Windsor. The other, also in South Windsor, is the Yorktown Plaza sign Grand Marais.
