The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch that is in effect until 9am Friday.
Due to predicted rainfall of 20 to 30 mm over the next 12 hours, ERCA says that there is a possibility of flooding exists along watercourses and in low-lying areas for the entire Essex region.
The possibility of flooding is higher for all municipalities south of County Road 8 due to higher levels of saturation within these areas as a result of heavier amounts of precipitation falling over the last two days.
