Community Rally Saturday To Save Sandwich Post Office, Mail Sorting Jobs

A rally will take place this Saturday in front of the Walker Road Mail Processing Plant across from Canadian Tire, to protest Canada Post Proposals to move mail sorting jobs to London and close the Historic Post Office in Olde Sandwich Towne.

The rally will feature a range of speakers who will address the impacts of Canada Post’s proposed service reductions for our community including CUPW National President Denis Lemelin and Brian Masse M.P. as well as others.

The rally gets underway at 1pm.  Free bus rides provided by the City of Windsor leaving Mackenzie Hall at 12:30pm and returning at 2:30pm.
