“Entrepreneurs help create and shape the culture of the communities in which we live. Small businesses serve the public and bring together its residents while producing jobs and directly impacting the local economy.” Two local filmmakers, John Chan and Frank Mancina, have put together a video on behalf of the Windsor Essex Small Business Centre that looks into the operations at eight local small and medium sized businesses, including us here at windsoriteDOTca.
“In this video, we share the stories of 8 entrepreneurs and their creative, unique small businesses. Find out what they’re doing to help impact the community of Windsor-Essex,” says the video’s description.
windsoriteDOTca Publisher/CEO Owen Wolter is featured in the video as he talks about windsoriteDOTca’s unique approach to local news, mixed with the passion of being a citizen of Windsor. Wolter talks about how new ideas and entrepreneurship is a key part of Windsor’s growth.
The video also features Rino’s Kitchen, Priced Green, Sunflower Organic Cafe, The Butcher of Kingsville, Windsor Dance eXperience, Birdie’s Perch and Renee’s Fine Cakes.
