Downtown Windsor’s Winter Fest Adds Wine Component

Part of this years inaugural Winter Fest in downtown Windsor next weekend will be the Winter Fest Wine Show – a celebration of the region’s award winning wines slated for December 15th from 12noon to 9pm.

Participating in the Wine Show are eight; Essex Pelee Island Coast wineries, namely Aleksander Estate Winery, Colchester Ridge Estate Winery, Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, D’Angelo Estate Winery, Muscedere Vineyards, Oxley Estate Winery, Pelee Island Winery and Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery.

Guests will be able to purchase wine samples for $2 and glasses of wine for $5, as well as place orders for bottles, gift baskets and merchandise to be delivered at a later date.

“We are delighted to host the wineries, and we are excited to present their fine selection to the city,” Larry Horwitz, Board Chair for the DWBIA, said in the news release. “The Wine Show affords us the opportunity to celebrate what makes Essex Pelee Island Coast wineries so unique and encourages visitors to recognize the quality of wines we have right here in the region.”
